Colorful Park Slope

Summer weekends for me means slowly wandering around my neighborhood on my teal cruiser-style bicycle just seeing where the day takes me.

It’s a great way to get a little exercise, sun, and be pleasantly surprised by things you otherwise wouldn’t see. I think when most people think of Park Slope architecture they see rows and rows of brownstones on a shady tree lined street with little potted plants marching up the stoops. Because of this canvas of brown, whenever I come across a bright color it always catches my eye. Of course, Park Slope isn’t only made up of gorgeous brownstones, there are some newly built homes that are also using color to make an impact.
