Steven has a diverse portfolio that reflects his ability to unite complex programmatic requirements with innovative design solutions. Steven’s contributions to architecture have been awarded the Presidential Award for Design Excellence, several American Institute of Architects Awards for Excellence in Design and three Business Week/Architectural Record Awards.

Steven has served as a juror in many architectural design competitions and has been an invited critic at Harvard University, the University of Pennsylvania, Pratt Institute, the City University of New York and Parsons School of Design. Additionally, he is an original member of the General Service Administration’s Federal Design Excellence Task Force, for which he has been active since 1993.

Steven holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts from Bennington College.
